Stopped by here for a bite before my flight. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfectly cozy and dark without glaring lights. Last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious. I regret getting the small size noodles thinking I'll just have a lighter meal with an extra piece of chasu (free topping if you choose small noodles), but the broth flavor was so good, I found myself regretting not getting more of the perfectly cooked bouncy noodles. Do yourself a favor, get the large noodles, add an extra piece of chasu if you want it. Would love to come back again if I'm in Fukuoka.

Kanetora embodies the hype generated by social media: We queue at 9:30 AM and there was a serious line already. Place spotless clean, elegant wooden interior, enthusiastic staff, fast paced serving. They weren't kidding about rich soup. It is the richest soup I ate, I had to cut the saucy soup with some broth to finish. To be honest I was overwhelmed. Don't get me wrong the depth and smoky layer of taste is there, I have grown to like clear broth(shio, shoyu) a bit more. Is it worth it? Yes, because this degree of richness can only be found in Japan.

One of the best Tsukemen I've had in Japan. A must visit! Great service too! You can customize the size of noodles and spice level. Noodle comes in small, regular, large and are the same price. If you order the small then you get a free topping. I chose the boiled vegetables. Counter seating only.
